Jack Turner. The Long Serving Microbrand
Introduction
Founded in 1972 from humble beginnings, In Hackensack New Jersey, The Jack Turner Brand has gone on to be the global manufacturer of Swiss-Made microbrand watches, their mission has remained the same: They offer limited edition timepieces offering excellence in terms of design, craftsmanship, and value.
The Watch
So as I said in the introduction, Jack Turner makes limited-edition timepieces. And the 'EL MAGICO' is no different. With the watch, I'm reviewing number 59/150. El Magico comes with a diameter of 43mm and a thickness of just 12.4mm, this wears more like 41mm than its actual 43mm. Made from 316l Stainless Steel, featuring a tachymeter along with a nice blend of polished and brushed finishes, accompanied with two polished pushers and an engraved crown at the 3 o clock position.
Moving on to the dial with style, featuring a blend of Navy and Light blue with orange indexes and 3 Sunburst style sub-dials. The polished silver hour and minute hands feature, orange inserts along very orange seconds hand with anchor detailing, the dial is an eyecatcher. Protecting your stylish dial is a double domed sapphire crystal with a much-appreciated Ar coating. As Jack turner is known for using Swiss Movements in El Magico is a Ronda 5030.d Quartz movement. Which covers the 3 important bases when looking for a budget-friendly movement. Its Reliable, durable, and a quality movement with little to no maintenance required.
On the back is, a Stainless steel screw-down cased engraved with the Jack Turner logo, your water resistance of 100meters, and your limited edition number.
